Good bye New Zealand

Three months have come and gone and it is time to move on.  Deep Purple put on a fine show carrying us through over 9800 km.  We have met some friends that we will definately see again...in NZ, the States and hopefully in Canada.

On our last day in Auckland Kevin, a fellow bike enthusiast and a great tour guide, showed us around Auckland.   A highlight of the day being the Skytower and I can't dismiss the very tasty last dinner in NZ at a Thai restaurant and a very comfy bed.  We are blown away by the Kiwi hospitality.  Our thanks goes out to all of them, I really hate to leave.

Skytower, Auckland, the tallest free standing structure in the Southern Hemisphere.

Ken standing on the glass floor of the observation room in the Skytower, about 222 metres off the ground.

This is the view from the Skytower and if you look very close you will see a girl doing a skyjump hanging bungy style plunging 192 metres straight down.

Kevin and Cathy more biking buddies,  Kiwi friends living in Auckland invited us to stay with them on our way out of NZ on the way to Aussie.  Great tour guides, thanks and see you in 2015!
